Abortionist Sued for Prescribing Abortion Pill to Texas Resident

Friday, December 13, 2024

On Thursday, December 12th, Texas’ Attorney General filed a lawsuit against abortionist Margaret Daley Carpenter for prescribing the abortion pill to a Texas resident. A twenty-year-old mother found herself pregnant while living in Texas and sought an abortion through telemedicine. Carpenter – a New York based physician – prescribed death-inducing drugs that successfully killed the woman’s 9-week-old preborn child. The young mother began experiencing complications and requested that her partner take her to the emergency room due to severe bleeding. It was after this event that her partner discovered that the baby’s death was intentionally induced – he found the Mifepristone container with prescriber Margaret Daley Carpenter’s name on the bottle.

It is illegal to practice medicine in the state of Texas without a Texas medical license, and it is also illegal to prescribe abortion-inducing drugs in the state. Therefore, when this case was brought to authorities, AG Ken Paxton sued Carpenter, asking the court for an injunction that would prevent Carpenter from prescribing abortion pills to people residing in Texas. The suit also requests penalties of $100,000 for every violation of Texas law.

This young woman’s unborn baby had a right to be protected from violence. Margaret Daley Carpenter has been killing babies just like this nine-week-old one for over twenty-four years. This kind of harm and oppression of our society’s smallest members must be stopped. Abortionists dismember and poison humans, and they must be held accountable for their crimes against humanity.
